NanoCarrier is developing pH-Sensitive Micelles that are designed to release drugs in response to pH change within the body. Micelles are believed to be introduced into cells through endosomes, endocytotic vesicles invaginated into membranes. Due to the low pH in endosomes, drugs are released from the micelles, increasing therapeutic efficacy on the timing of drug release.
