Sensor Linked Micelle is being developed for a targeting therapy. It is expected to improve cancer targeting by attaching antibodies on the surface of micellar nanoparticles, which recognize specific antigens appearing in cancer cells.

By this way, targeting therapy is expected to be more efficient than conventional missile therapy, which bonds an antibody to a drug, because it can deliver more drugs to target cells. By targeting, side effects are expected to be reduced.
